Focus Bikes is known for its high-quality mountain and road bikes. They came to us to reinvent their digital customer experience.

The luxury brand, Focus Bikes existing website was falling short, they needed to better integrate their online and offline customer journeys making their online presence a sales conversion machine for their dealers.

Some of the key areas we needed to focus on were: The bike finder, neither was this returning relevant enough results nor providing the customer with the information they need. The online customer experience and journey throughout the site was not representative of the brand. The site had limited calls to action and was not converting leads to dealers.

In addition to improvements to the general frontend experience, we also reviewed content quality and the data integrations to support this. Focus were manually maintaining data, with manual connections to their Baan (ERP) system. Not only was this process time consuming it also lead to data quality and integrity issues.

The new Magento solution coupled with PIM integration delivered a vastly improved experience for customers and a lead generation machine for their dealers. Win-win!

We migrated Focus Bikes from a legacy TYPO3 platform over to cutting edge Magento solution with full ERP and Product Information Management integration. Now their website administrators and visitors enjoy the pleasure of a multidimensional CMS, effieicint PIM, smart search and complex product configurator capabilities.

The new website is intended to place the most relevant information at the consumers’ fingertips and then guide them to their nearest dealer. For example, a test ride can be requested on the website itself. The website also shows which bikes are in stock at which dealer.

Doubled conversions

The new focus bikes website connects the purchase journey of their consumers, better portrays the brand proposition, the result is a doubling of test ride request conversions within the first month.
